The Dewoitine D 510 was an all-metal, open-cockpit, fixed-undercarriage monoplane fighter, used by the French Air Force in the late 1930's. It was armed with a single 20 mm Hispano cannon and 2 × 7.5 mm machine guns in the wings. At the start of World War II, D.510s were still in operation with three Fighter Groups in France and two in North Africa.
This was a partially built kit I acquired which needed a little TLC to complete. It turned into a nice kit even though the decals were terrible. I used Testors and Aeromaster paints to paint the camouflage freehand with my airbrush.
