Airfix 1/72 Aérospatiale SA.330 Puma
French Army

The Aérospatiale SA.330 Puma is a four-bladed, twin-engined medium transport/utility helicopter. The Puma was originally manufactured by Sud Aviation of France and has been produced in other countries as well. The Puma was a commercial success and has been developed into more advanced models such as the AS332 Super Puma and AS532 Cougar, manufactured by Eurocopter since the early 1990s. it has been used in combat on multiple occasions including the Gulf War and the Falklands War. It was often used by British Special Forces for covert operations.

This was a tough build - poor fit throughout, rivets everywhere and the cockpit was tough to piece together. My cabin floor popped out after the fuselage was closed so I had to glue the cabin doors shut. I used the kit decals which were yellowed a bit, but it was all I had.
