The Frog Firefly F.Mk.1 painted and decorated to represent an aircraft of 837 Squadron aboard HMS GLORY during the immediate post WW II era while GLORY was part of the British Pacific Fleet (BPF).  These old Frog issues provide a good base for a host of subjects not otherwise available.

Wow, that is a VERY clean build! You seem to have a distinctive building style that I'd like to see more of!

And folks, don't forget to look at EJ's Matchbox F-86A which got lost in the spam folder here for almost a week and thus (sadly) never got its place at the top of the Recent Posts list. Well worth a look.

Well done, sir. You have really cleaned up that old FROG kit. Very well executed, indeed. Adios, Larry.

EJ:

        What Snake and Larry said!

Seldom seen, and really nice for us early RN folks.

The British Pacific markings are unusual for us colonials.

           A hit all around!

           Keep it up!

Regards,

Bernie

Frog sure had someone there that like the Fleet Air Arm. They did quite a few aircraft for the FAA. Firefly, Barracuda, Hellcat, Avenger, Corsair, Martlet/Wildcat, Blkbrn Shark, Swordfish, etc. They also had someone that liked aircraft operated by the Royal Australian Air Force. Frog did a number of aircraft nobody else would have done back in the day. Dang good company. Martin

Wot, no Barracuda?

Good old Frog!

Always had better decals, and more adventurous choices in both kits and markings.

Until recently, who had a Gannet? Sea Fury? Wyvern?

All the RN favorites.

Had they lasted, maybe a Scimitar, Seafire?

Amazing line of kits, I miss them.
